You can show or hide the render window.
The "select by name" dialogue box opens automatically when you click on the "Select a Camera" button which should speed up workflow.
I've made an ini file for it so it will remember all of your settings EXCEPT for the render directory which will remember the name but wont keep the path if that makes any sense. I'm researching this problem ATM but once again don't hold your breath.
